“Persistence guarantees that results are inevitable.” ― Paramahansa Yogananda.
Erin has been practicing yoga for almost 15 years. It has been an invaluable tool for her in mitigating life's inevitable chaos and remains a constant in her day-to-day adventures, which include navigating the tumultuous waters of graduate school and the ever-rewarding adventure that is being a mom. With an in-depth understanding of yoga's healing powers, she intends to do everything possible to make yoga accessible to community members while also integrating aspects of yoga into her future therapy practice.
Erin has been teaching yoga since 2012, and is also a certified personal trainer, lecturer, and graduate student at UH Hilo, homeschooling mother of 2, supportive wife, and avid car singer. Her certifications with Yoga Alliance include 500hr E-RYT, RCYT, and YACEP. She completed the rigorous e84 Yoga 500hr program in February 2023 under the guidance of Esak Garcia and his fabulous team of dedicated yoga practitioners. Her personal training certification is held with the American Council on Exercise and includes an additional certification in group fitness. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Counseling Psychology and holds a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. She is passionate about getting people of all ages moving and especially enjoys working with youth and individuals one-on-one.
